Why hasn't this gotten more press?
In an era of many strum-and-hum singers and bands, this is another fine addition. I was taken by There Were Wolves on the first listen, and it's held up after a week of many plays. The album is so solid that I was prompted to ask other friends about the band, none of whom have heard of The Accidental. I'm sure I'll make fans of them in no time. Reference points are not only the folksy set (Vetiver, Neal Halstead, Iron & Wine, etc.), but I hear a bit of Super Furry Animals at their mellowest, as well.
