Dark synthy dreams

vacuumtensorequalszero

I read about this album in Wire and, after the dozenth listen this week, I must say it's incredible. There is something grimy and dystopic, almost noir, about this music. The overly warm strains of 60's electronic strings and horns, while a bit unsettling, are also hypnotic and beautiful. Recommended.

timeless music

ThaProfessor

Or music that deals in multiple times. The Advisory Circle's electronic music manages to sound entirely up-to-date even as it evokes the UK of the 1960s and 1970s. I hope emusic will be carrying other albums from the Ghost Box label.

this would have to be the best 10 seconds of music ever to waste a download on, couldn't emusic some how combine very very short tracks to the track preceding it or the track following the very very very short track?? just thinking out loud
