Search Barkays

I know what you're looking for. Emusic has other recordings listed under Barkays (without the dash)

Some re-recordings included

This is a genuine Bar-Keys album - at least according to iTunes - but some tracks, most noticeably "Soul Finger", are not the original recordings. Presumably these are re-recordings for a new label. "Too Hot To Stop" (as featured on the "Superbad" opening credits) is so much like Earth, Wind and Fire I thought it was an EWF original.

NOT THE BAR KAYS

merf

another crap cover version album - wish emusic would get rid of this crap or at least clearly mark it as such.

Funky funky funky!....

How did this group get lost in the post 80's R&B music scene. The Bar-key's are a good time of everything funky and fun. Freakshow on the DanceFloor might be their big hit.... but Boogie Body Land is another great track. All of the songs have tons of funk and fun in it... Highly suggested addition to anyone looking for funk and looking to get past the Parliment Funkidelic experience. These guys are closer to that funk sound of Earth Wind and Fire (another great funk band).

I'm not sure I believe in ghosts. It's probably all the Scooby Doo episodes I watched as a kid; ghosts were never real, but rather just Old Mr. Thompson… more »
