Double crap

senatorbobdole

and really, what is going on with the illustration of the Beach Boys? Brian looks like a primate with a beehive hairdo.

mr. mark

this sh^% has been around on el cheapo cassettes for decades. I guess it is the original recordings (Beach Boys), casue it's the crummy demos Murray Wilson shopped around in between punching out Brian. On the other hand, the J&D stuff are recuts from after Dean's accident. And you really want to hear Little Deuce Coupe by the BB and Surf City by J&D. Not that bad though, if you're paying $1.00 and know what you're getting.

Surfers Still Rule

I lived in California when these groups were getting famous. To us, they were bigger than the Beatles.

These are demos, not the hits!

JanglePop

Except for tracks 1-4 which were demos cut in 1961 for Candex records before they signed with Capitol. The Jan and Dean tracks are cheap remakes.

Actually the Originals!!!!!

EMUSIC-01D7BA1A

I found that not many of the albums on here were from the originals, but this is one of those few that are!!!!! I thought that the "digitaly remastered" would ruin it, but it's great!!!
