what's the point?
with so many albums unavailable to subscribers outside of the mighty U.S. of A. we ask, well, why? why do we pay the same subscription? why do we put up with this? is it the tea party's fault?

If what you know of The Breeders is "Cannonball" and "Divine Hammer," this will sound dark and twisted. But this is really Kim Deal becoming a rock goddess (like you knew she would from "Gigantic") with help from Tanya Donnelly sounding more Throwing Muses than Belly and Steve Albini producing like "Rid of Me" and "In Utero." Can't think of many singers besides Kim who could pull off a version of "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" almost as good as Lennon's.
i first bought this album on cassette ... yeah ... well it's a goodun so buy it again like i did. BTW that's vaughan oliver on the cover art with a belt of eels - ns... cleveland rocks - as does AKRON @chaduran - yes streets above last splash.
Not a dud on the entire album. Metal Man is super excellent and chaduran mentioned, you have got to hear Happiness is a Warm Gun, intense. YOU MUST DOWNLOAD!
I love this album so much more than their more popular album "Last Splash". Just listen to the beatles cover "Happiness is a warm gun"! So good. other standouts: tracks 2,4,6,7
Inexplicably, this is hard to find. So happy it's on emusic!
