Brian Rix...that one takes me back to thursday nights at the Hacienda in 1987 where,along with the Wolfhounds 'Anti-Midas Touch,' McCarthy's 'Frans Hals,' and 'Therese' by the Bodines, this was one of the songs that filled the dancefloor with astonishingly pretty bob-haired indie girls. A taste of English indie before football-shirted beer monsters took over following the success of pub rock excrement like Oasis, and the aforementioned beauties legged it for the exits as someone dropped the ugly bomb on England.
