Barton Hallow
I can't figure out how this track fits into the album! despite sharing the same name "Barton Hallow" the album shares no similarities as a whole with the individual track... unfortunately

I like a lot of different styles and artists but for the life of me I can't figure out what the big deal is about these guys. Bland. Formulaic. Boring. To each there own I suppose.
Honestly I really wanted to like it, but for the most part I found it bland and boring. Sorry just not my cup of tea I guess.
This is a truly excellent album! Have already been listening to it all day. I'll definitely download more of The Civil Wars soon.
Favorite band (and that says a lot.). Best album I own. Just saw them in concert and it was surreal. You appreciate them most if you've been following them for a couple years, but new listeners find them wonderful as well. And if you're a member, the album costs $5.99?! What the heck are you waiting for?!
I love eMusic for finds like this
This is an album of pretty harmonies and sad, romantic lyrics. Perfect for crying into your chardonnay. For me, it's just sleep-inducing.
really dig this one. stumbled upon it on accident. I enjoy each song. If you dig this try Half Moon Tuesday, they have a sample album you can get on their website halfmoontuesday.com under free mp3s..
This is a very impressive record in many ways, but it's emotional drenching with hardly any let up. I does remind me why I like artist who throw in a wry joke here and there. But there is no denying the songs are well written, song with exceptional feeling and ability, and the production is fantastic.
