... and such a great album. Like ccatdaddy said, it's difficult to describe their sound... punk bluegrass, maybe? For me they have the style of Old Crowe Medicine Show, the wildness of The Avetts Bros, and soul of The Tarbox Ramblers put together in one place. And one of the most fun live shows I've seen.
This one is somewhat hard to classify. When my friend was playing them in his car I asked "who's this?"I didn't know you liked bluegrass." I liked it so much I downloaded it that night. The next day I listened to it at least three times now realizing it wasn't really Bluegrass. Rather, it's like Hank 3 meets John Hiatt (think crossing muddy waters recording) and The 357 String band. It also has some Rockabilly influences. Definitely a must-have.
