"Months old," as Syd Barrett quipped in the intro to "Dolly Rocker," the inspiration for a band that, on "Our Days Mind The Tyme" brings together the best of the psychedelic legacy forged by Mr. Barrett and his lysergic ilk in the mid sixties. Band leader Dandy Lyon and his team of psychonauts deliver a spectrum of consistently excellent songs that veer from the pure psychedelia of opener "The Only One" to the punk psych garage sounds of "Memory Layne" (another Barrett reference, apparently). This is the best offering yet from The Dolly Rocker Movement. Be sure to see them live if you get the chance.
