Smoke & Mirrors
Listening to this is like being transported back to the late 80s and listening to gothic rock overlaid with ethereal female vocals. The influence of Fields of the Nephilim is prevalent throughout and mixed with the female vocals it works. In fact it works very well. Extremely atmospheric and doom laden but some great tunes and stunning singing. And enough variety to sustain the whole. For me the stand out track is Trashed Treasure but there is not a duff track on the album.
