This is one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. If you haven't gotten this album, than you need to, immediately. It's pop but its well written and the complexity makes it a lot more special than most pop music that you may be accustomed to. Download it for sure!
Maybe it's just me because I grew up with mainstream rock and pop, but this kind of music seems one of the hardest genres for a band to stand out in. Take this album which (to answer my own question) reminds me of Snow Patrol: it is not bad music, it sounds good, professionally produced, sung and played, it's only something that I have heard many times before.
