the band that cued up konono #1 in western jukeboxes, the ex continue to kill it. lots of sounds and ideas from their mid-world travels are further explored here. the narrative on "sister", about a cop who runs into his sister on the corner, cause thats where prostitutes hang out, is a great one. i think they also do a loose cover of a konono song here. check out their downloadable live set on wfmu.org when they came to nyc last.
