dope album
I was unaware of these guys till now, but this album impressed. each song is solid with a lot of great beats (Rick Rock, Amp Live, Flying Lotus).

I had given up on hip hop music until across these guys. Now I have hope again. Its nice to hear a band with real world lyrics and real feelings. Give em a try, I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
The Grouch and Eligh are highly lauded members of the Living Legends, and pioneers in hip hop. Their careers were destined for greatness, and then something unseen seemed to derail that path. Their solo projects were mediocre, and group albums lacked the honesty and soul that had made them so popular. The Grouch and Eligh return to form in this G&E project with gusto. From the production to the lyrics, the varied song choice to the guests, this album is vintage legends, and vintage Grouch and Eligh. Thank God.
I have been rocking to this one for a couple weeks now, and like most Grouch and/or Eligh music, it grows on you. They have a different style, but are at their most refined on this one. "Old Souls" is prob my fave, but the "Denial-I Know you Wanna Feel-Teach Me the Way" is a phenomenal set. Get this and spread the word.
Back to the same dope jams you expect from these guys and then some.
