Beard-scratching
Mostly good beard-scratchingly abstract chamber pieces, well played. Lots of good rosiny scrape to the strings: you can hear the wood in these violins and the players have guts. Very very dense music, though, probably best enjoyed in small doses in a contemplative frame of mind.
