Ain't Nuttin' But A Groove
Fine floor filling grooves. It isn't pretending to be anything but what it is.My ears & feet love it.

I agree with the other review, Herbaliser lead the UK hip hop/funk scene for a long time and now it just seems to have jumped on to the 70's funk bandwagon. Again, it would go down well in a club, but these are the people who created Ginger Jumped the Fence and this seems a million miles away from that originality.
Forgive me, as I used to be a big fan of the Herbaliser. That was back in the days when most people hadn't heard of Ninja Tunes or Mo'Wax, and DJ Shadow had just barely released Endtroducing ... and Herbaliser would kick out 'phat' beats and head nodding, avant-garde hip hop. What is it these days, the obsession with making everything sound like some funk record from the 1970's? Ok, the tune would not sound out of place in a DJ's party set and does get the floor moving - my criticism is purely the lack of originality displayed here, just a bunch of what sounds like old school funk samples and production that makes it all just toooo RETRO!!
