Good value for hard core old school soul fans
A very miscellaneous collection of 60s soul. It's short on big hits and big names, so this certainly shouldn't be anyone's first, or even fifth, soul collection. Still the tracks are well-chosen and there's plenty of interest here to the collector, like "Sad Girl" by Jay Wiggens, the odd "Long Cool Summer" an answer record to mid-60s riots, an early Intruders tracks, and plenty of Masqueraders, a personal favorite of mine. And the price is certainly right.
