Such a great, great, great album. I question the initial disparaging of it, although it was a lot different from Hot Fuss, which could have been a driving point. But, that is the great thing about The Killers, it seems like they have a different kind of sound and feel to all of their albums, maybe not a full-blown genre change like Radiohead, but still a pretty significant one. Especially looking back on this album now in 2012, so many of these songs could be fantastic singles. You always have to give albums time. The Killers make great, meaningful, and heartfelt music. Brandon Flowers is the best.
