If you like the Arcade Fire, then you'll likely enjoy this band. However, the album feels a little bloated and could have been better with a few songs shaved off. Don't get me wrong - I believe these guys will really hit their stride by the next album. Consider me a fan.
Finding an album like this keeps music interest alive. This band has got to be one of the best kept secrets of the year! I would be impressed if Arcade Fire themselves had produced this. Fantastic melodies on tracks like "Beat Your Heartbeat" and "Don't Wake Up". The cover of Neil Youngs "Philadelphia" is an aural masterpiece. Solid all around!
These guys are absolutely great live. This album has great songwriting and solid production. This well worth the download. I agree with the other reviewer that these guys will be huge soon. Just listening to "SDP" make you want to figure out how you have never heard of them before? I foresee big things for these Danes. Listen to "Philadelphia" and listen to Neil Young being reinvented.
