Brilliant album, brilliant songs. This is music that puts you in a good mood instantly, this is music I will be listening to for years. I bought it on Amazon when it was on sale, it is definitely one of my favorite albums of 2012.
the worst. dave mathews rip off. edward sharpe rip off. of monsters and men rip off. they should do jcrew commercials in denver, not be rock stars on a site like emusic. I went on a rant like this at one of their shows and people just turned around and nodded. give me my money back you b!@#$!!!
One of my top 5 favorite albums this year---so freaking good.
Wonderful album. Thanks to KUT in Austin, TX for consistantly playing great new music/artists.
I really like this album. And I agree with BRUEHAUSPHX, in that it my go on the best of 2012 list. I think they are great for thirsty fans of Edward Sharpe, The Dodos and even Smog/Bill Callahan.
This album made my "potential best of 2012" at first listen. It only moves up on that list with each listen! If 2012 ended today, THIS would be the "best of"! But we all know that 2012 will not end until December 21...... just like the Mayans said!
Anyone who likes acoustic sounds and great song-writing should get this album. It has a spirited, upbeat (even in the slower tempo songs) mood that is very infectious. Overall, it's a breath of fresh air. BUT ... consider downloading it at Amazon.com, where it can be purchased for $5.00. (Save your eMusic credits for music you can't buy more cheaply elsewhere.)
This is great "Good Morning Music". Better than coffee because you can keep hitting repeat. I'm quite partial to Hey Ho. A shout out is due to KEXP radio/podcast for introducing me to this great band.
