This is the one
That got me into The Meters, who I feel are probably one of if not the most influential funk/soul band out there. Besides their work as the Meters, these guys played on so many classics its incredible. Every song is great, but highlights are Love Slip Up On Ya, Can you Do Without, and probably the Meters most Jazz oriented song, Middle of the Road.
