A defining medieval sound
This production is one of pure quality. The sound is crystal clear in both the vocal part and the instrumental one. The Newberry Consort is a new ensemble to me, but they have made a strong impact on me, and in many ways is comparable to the ensemble "Joculatores Upsaliensis" from Sweden. The same sort of carefully laid singing and instrumentation is present here. Heartfully recommended to listeners of medieval tunes.
