This recent Orb release would seem to be the soundtrack to a short film related to the legendary Battersea power station, padded out with remixes of same to produce a full-length album. But once you download and listen to it, you find much more variety than you would expect, though there is indeed some repetition of themes. It's a typical Orb combination of exploratory electronica with dance grooves. Well worth the download.
It used to be easier to pretend that an album was its own perfectly self-contained artifact. The great records certainly feel that way.
