great band live, power power and sweat. like status quo without the prettiness or the nicely paced chord changes... maybe halfway between the quo and the ramones? dunno. but I sampled a few of the tracks on here that I own on vinyl from wayyyy back - and the sound is awful - imagine the radio in your mum's kitchen when you were small? this is NOT the pirates' sound, folks. don't download, if you like it, it's not the pirates, if you don't like it, it's not the pirates' fault. eMusic - what are you doing? something's wrong technically here
