smoke gets in you`r eyes..THE PLATTERS?
POOR QUALITY, NOT THE PLATTERS,BUT SOME OTHER GROUP TRYING TO SOUND LIKE THEM, BUT FAILING BADLY, THUMBS DOWN ON THIS ONE.
Great songs, poor recordings
This album contains some of the Platters best, but the quality of the recordings is inconsistent, and often poor.
poor copy
the group sounds something like the platters, but I wont download their songs
Better version
The song "With this Ring" has very rolled off highs (i.e., the high notes are missing). The version on the album "My Way" sounds better.
misleading
These are not orignal recordings. Emusic is full of songs that are fake, covers, or otherwise not what you expect and they don't properly mark them as such.
I Want My Money Back
These are not The Platters. They sound nothing like the Platters. If this is an example of emusic, I do not want to have anything to do with this company.

How can you compare THE GREAT PRETENDER on this CD to the original? They are not even CLOSE. The Original IS GREAT, this is........ well...... better not say.
Low quality recordings
This sounds like it was recorded in a high school gym. It is NOT the recording you are looking for (Probably). Although is does have some redeeming characteristics, like some great non-standard composition, it is no where near as polished as the norm.
