Good blends are rare...

Various online reviews out there dismiss The Potomac Accord on account of trying to sound like GY!BE. Bah, piffle. Yes, there are whiffs of GY!BE, like there are traces of Black Heart Procession, spores of Mogwai, and probably half a dozen other bands as well. Yet, creating a good blend is less obvious than one should think, and that's what this album is: a perfect blend! Can we have more Potomac Accord here please?

Mellow, melodic, dark, and so wonderful. Passionate vocals accompanied by piano and light drums. You gotta check it out. There later stuff is better though it is not yet available on emusic.
