I love the whole thing
The Samples' unique sound has been compared to other bands, but they really are distinct--once you've heard them, you're hooked. The smoothness of this album will relax almost anyone.

This beauty doesn't sound to me like a debut album. The song writing and musicianship is steller and mature. Sean Kelley's voice is in the stratosphere and the reggea and pop tinged music isn't far behind. See these guys live. Good stuff! My picks: Birth of Words, Ocean of War, Close to the Fires
I concur, this album is solid Samples. There positive folky w/ a reggae sound. "Birth Of Words" is a track not to miss. "Feel us Shaking" is nice too.
best LP they ever made
