Definitely heaviness and groove.
tania's got it right. This album is just awesome through and through, one of those albums that you struggle choosing favourites because they're all so good! If I had to choose, "Louven" and "The Human Face" would be it. The rhythm section is to die for.
Indie rock's last great hope!
This is the SN album I've been waiting for since "Save Everything." And no, it's not much like that amazing debut in so many ways, but rather what to me seems like a natural progression. Not to dismiss the quality of their other records, but neither of the other full length records brought together the rockin' live set feel, the heaviness, groove, etc. at least not so consistently. Check the first and the last tracks here, and if you aren't floored by them, then I don't know what to tell you.
