Originals - Sort Of
My wife and I got to see this bastardized version of the Specials in the mid-90s in a small club in Cleveland. With the exception of Neville I don't think any of the original members were in the band at that time (by 1998 some of them had rejoined to record the moderately ok album "Guilty 'til Proved Innocent"). I'm not sure when this album was actually recorded, but without Terry's brilliantly disinterested consonance there is something very lacking. I would download this if I knew the Specials were getting a royalty check, but the original versions are far superior. Hopefully emusic will be adding them at some point.
