like common's beats
sounds a lot like beats Common would use. shame the rhymes aren't quite as good as his.

The future of hip-hop is now and the SFP is it. SFP is quite possibly one of the most underrated, talented, lyrically gifted hip-hop groups out there today. They skillfully, blend tight beats with a message all true hip-hop heads can relate to.You can literally put any of their CDs in your player and push 'play' without having to skip from track to track. If you're looking for real hip-hop, check out the SFP. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
Had previously downloaded music from the Strange Fruit Project (love that name) and this brand of rap/hip hop is surprisingly smooth, relevant, and musically quite satisfying. while there are indeed other cuts that stand out more so than others, you could easily put on and leave - smooth transions and creates nice upbeat but sophisticated amb iance...I indeed recommend
...I stumbled accross this gem at about 2.30am with a zoot in my hand. This is possibly one of the best hip hop albums i've heard for years. If you love the Fender Rhodes you'll love this, warm, soulful chord changes over tight snares, rimshots and badass basslines. The rapping comes from no other than Little Brother, and i'd even put my life on the line to say that this is even BETTER than The Foriegn Exchange project that they recorded with Nicolay (which I also love too) I downloaded the entire two albums and have been listening to this shit ever since! You will not be dissapointed!
