NBSHS Fight Song AKA "The Horse"
This review is dedicated to The New Bern Senior High School Class of 1977, Director Mr. Guyte Cotton and the entire New Bern Senior High School Marching Band. Although we were "The Bears" our ever motivating fight song was "The Horse" written by Jesse James and originally recorded as a B-side song for Cliff Nobles & Co. As great as this recording is, it is nothing compared to how Mr. Cotton and The NBSHS Marching Band played this tune. My heart just gets revved up whenever I hear this song and I know it has the same effect on the rest of you alums! Marcia and Maria this search is also dedicated to YOU!
