Best CD
This is the BEST CD from one of the best Christian bands...wait strike that, one of the BEST bands ever, BAR NONE! You don't have to be a Believer to enjoy this CD, it rocks. These guys are everything the Pumpkins wish they could be.....

believe it/don't believe it
wish the bunnies had balls? please! this is, indeed, a good record that tips a hat to plenty of cool 80s guitar goodness, but there's no way that the violets will ever live up to the first two reviews here.
Another solid album.
The Violet Burning produces music that strikes me in places as being reminiscent of the Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen and Smashing Pumpkins, yet transcending all. I think anybody who gave them a good listen will come to appreciate Michael Pritzl's skill as a vocalist in his ability to convey emotion and sincerity rivaling any of the more recognized songwriters who've broken into the mainstream. 'Drop-Dead' is a good album howbeit one that is still growing on me. I strongly, strongly recommend "Demonstrates Plastic & Elastic" and their 1996 self-titled album, which is fortunately available here (particularly the songs 'Crush', 'Underwater' and 'Low.')
