Clever Wolfmen
It sounds as the Ghost of something 60's UK has possesed The Wolfmen whether it be the spirit of the Kinks, Beatles, Dave Clark 5 or the Bay City Rollers. And that's mixing it up. Wolfmen deliver with a bright punch to the brand of rock layed down on "Modernity Killed Every Night". I have downloaded three tunes that are reminiscent of the styles of different succesful bands on the scene. now don't get me wrong about a Kinks comparison on the song "Cecile" which is a slow moving "all day and all of the night" playful flirt song that really add a "Dandy Warhols"jam flavor with an Iggy Pop warmth vocal. "Kama Sutra" brings a bright mix of styles that is just fun. A lot of Franz Ferdinand dance bop with a "Back in the USSR" break in the middle just plain fun bop music. "Needle In The Camel's Eye" The opening track is a great intro to what appears to be a warm Brit soundfeast. Great Stuff!
