My favorite
This is my favorite album. Thione Seck is one of Africa's greatest singers, along with Baaba Maal & Youssou N'dour, although he hasn't achieved the same international fame. This album is similar to Youssou N'dour's "Egypt", with the addition of Indian musicians. Thione reworks some of his older songs in a mellow, middle-eastern & Indian style. The hilight of this album is "Mouhammadou Bamba", which he originally recorded with Orchestre Baobab and which features some of his finest vocals.
