Brennan is a master of creating worlds and allowing you your own projections within, all the while making it sound effortless, as if the music is branching and expanding by itself. This album is very representative of his most ambient period. The Moss Cathedral alone is worth the price of admission, and if it leads you to the rest of the album, by all means grab as much of his catalog as you can.

Nothing short of absolute perfection! Thom Brennan is one of the best performers out there in the auraspace. That is because his music has real depth, real soul that touches its own magic and shares it for us. Thom's music is so close to perfection that sometimes I hear the birds outside copy his notes. Mist and Secret faiths of Salamanders are a sequel equal to none. Art becomes music, genius becomes the profound.
Well, I never thought I'd find a composer that I liked as much as or more than Serrie. Alas, Brennan has set the bar for ambient/space music in my opinion. Download ALL of Brennan's albums. You won't regret it one iota.
