Alternative college rock has easily been one of the most overplayed genres since the mainstream success of Hootie and the Blowfish. But on the other hand, bands like Three Finger Cowboy reestablish the faith that all power pop doesn’t sound like the downfall of the Goo Goo Dolls or Soul Asylum. Kissed provides an enjoyable presence of female-fronted, straightforward pop. Nothing groundbreaking, but the all around catchiness forgives any carbon copy moments. – Mike DaRonco
