This album is heavily distorted, feedback laden guitar improv, so it really is a suicide note for acoustic guitar. This is definately the noisy side of Thurston, not at all related to his last two releases. No song structures so to speak, but lots of noise, which can be a beautiful thing.
They're one of the greatest bands to emerge in the last 30 years and have released as many consistent and interesting albums as bands like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and contemporaries Radiohead.
