A soundtrack for traversing time.
'Time Being' is the alias of Jourdan Laik, who seems to be a protege of Phillip Wilkerson. Who himself, has numerous ambient projects under his belt. The album has a really nice 'feel' to it, and could be characterized as Max Corbacho, meets Stellardrone. It could, also be described as a soundtrack for traversing time, and visiting other temporal realities. The tenor stays toward the light-side of ambience pretty much, but demonstrates a lot of epic musical grandeur. Which is a hallmark of most CD's dealing with \"space-music\" 'Future Forming' is one track that conveys the uneasiness of a multitude of possible dark futures. It is a little murky, but masterfully done. If you like artists like: Jonn Serrie, Dan Pound, Kevin Kendle, and Rudy Adrian. Then this will dovetail nicely into your ambient playlists. Recommeded.
