Timba con Chocolate
Don't let the cheesy cover art fool you, this is good music. Top Timba vocalists Tirso Duarte and Michel Perez deliver strong vocal performances and the band cooks. I must admit that though my Afro Cuban music collection numbers into the hundreds, its rare for a timba record to knocked me out. However, Pan Con Chocolate is right up there with Haila's Tribute to Celia Cruz from a few years back. If you're a charanga fan, you won't be disappointed.
