Nice collection of some of El Rey's best. But no compilation of Tito Puente's work can adequately cover the depth and breadth of a career that produced more than 100 albums. Nevertheless, this is a good place to start to get to know Maestro Puente's body of work.
Larry Harlow is the closest you'll get to a missing link between the worlds of rock and salsa.
