Arizona singer/songwriter Tracy Shedd prefers things sparse and spindly. Cigarettes & Smoke Machines winds delicate melodies around brittle guitars, making for tiny pop songs that are both winsome and refreshing.
This album is great! The Spinanes/Rebecca Gates meets Liz Phair at the record store. Loved this so much that for three weeks in a row we have played Won Past Ten on the Dr. J Radio show on WUDR in Dayton, Ohio http://flyer-radio.udayton.edu). Tracy needs much more exposure! Take a chance you will not regret it!
This chick has a great future, but major labels couldn't figure it out. It's just fun music. Try "Won Past Ten" and try not to smile and dance around the room.
