Excellent Power Punk Pop...
This is one of the better punk albums I've run across in the last several years, although in fairness I don't seek it out the way I did when I was a teenager, voraciously mail-ordering on spec because the internet was only good for Prodigy messageboards about the '94 baseball strike. This is really, really solid pop punk in the Buzzcockian tradition rather than the Ramonesian one, which as much as I love the boys from Queens, is a welcome change of pace. The lead singer's voice might take a bit of getting used to, but that's grown on me. "Between Planets" can be your canary in the coalmine: if you dig it, chances are this album will do it's thang for you too.
