I was out looking for some didge music, and thought this looked good. "Deep in Didge"... got to have didgeridoos, right? Boy, was it not what I was expecting... it was a heck of a lot more. While the didge plays a key role in the music, the guitar, flute and voices (mostly nonsense or non-English) out front blend amazingly well. The didge vocalizations are well-utilized, and no one element, didge or other instrument, overwhelms the pieces. This album blends instruments and rhythm styles from different cultures in a seamless tapestry. It doesn't "feel" like any particular culture's music, and has a decidedly "tribal" feel. I'm picking up their other albums as soon as I get more downloads available.
