I am not generally one to respond to reviews, but this "CD" "is no longer available, except as a limited art edition. ($100)" (per website). Only 1,000 of the original were made and only 100 of the art editions were made but they have source code and schematics and all that. I know I didn't find it for sale on Amazon or eBay so feel free to buy this piece of art for $100 at 1bitmusic.com or get it on sale now for $5.

I am not generally one to discourage downloading, but this is one that you must get the physical copy of. The album is a microchip built into a CD case. When you plug headphones in to a jack at the edge of the case, it completes the circuit and plays a surprisingly complex...1 Bit Symphony. This is a great concept that does not carry over to downloads. Buy this piece of art in a jewel case instead.
