Influencial Prosperity

Sumset

TStewart is actually the man behind two other great electronic monikers: Syndrone and Machinedrum. Low points for me were 2,3,5,6 BUT what I love about this album is that it never settles into one type of electronic niche. "That Love" is an ambient piano piece similar to Sylvain Chauveau or Christopher Bissonette. "No Fun" and "Camp Lejune" are total glitch out masterpieces with vocal cutups and amazing drum samples. "I Waited" and "Jess" sound very similar to something off of "Folk songs for Trains" by Savath y Savalas while "Become an Eagle" could be an actual mash up between Squarepusher and Steve Reich. "A World..." is a cool jazzy downtempo number with plenty of snare rushes to keep you interested; like something off of early Amon Tobin. Finally he leaves us with a "Stars of the Lid" kind of ambient swirl. Hey... is this a various artist album their trying to pass off? Very Sneaky.
