Rock N Roll Reinvented!
The last true rock n roll band, maybe it was Guns N Roses, died just about 17 years ago. Since then "post-grunge" acts have tried to follow in the footsteps of Nirvana without any huge success. Rock N Roll just isn't balls anymore. It's summer anthems and breakup songs. However you will not find anything then the arrogant straight-up rock n roll attitude in this amazing debut by UK rockers Turbowolf. It's retro, but new as well. It's fresh, forward-thinking, but still rooted in the very same classic rock n roll feel as Zeppelin. Being a "classic" rock n roll band these days is hard if you not want to get bashed for obviously drawing inspiration from AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Black Sabbath or Deep Purple. Turbowolf however, sounds simply like themselves from the weird interludes and the alien/psychedelic keyboard to the balls-to-the wall riffing. Amazing!
