Nocturnes

swarnstratus

In their second album, Uh Huh Her clearly grows, but perhaps not as highly as my expectations. I like their sound in general so I enjoyed this album, but I feel they risk becoming a bit too competitive if they don't explore a wider variety of musical avenues. The most original track on this album is Debris. It has a hard edge both musically and lyrically. The best instrument they have is their voices and I hope that with Debris they see they can offer their listeners so much more in variety than they have thus far. Great bands always take risks while still producing a product they can call their own. Both Camila and Leisha are extremely talented and I hope they are able to take the next step.
