This album has four of Nusrat Sahab's songs mixed with Ustad Sultan Khan on the sarangi (and also providing vocals). Purists may not like this mixed version of Nusrat Sahab's Qawwalis but I think they are reasonably well done. I did not have the particular version of Haq Ali Ali that this album contains - and that track makes the entire album extremely worthwhile.
I have been listening to this album non-stop since downloading it! I feel like danicing in the morning while sipping my Yerba Mate, blasting this beautiful, rejoiceful classical Indian for all the neighborhood to hear! Nothing short of a brilliant collaboration; these two wise men of Indian music meet (virtually?) to deliver one of the most emotionally driven sounds on the planet.
