A great album
After all these years VDGG are still producing music that is as strong as ever. Don't let the short track lengths fool you, "A Grounding In Numbers" still sounds like classic VDGG while treadfing new ground at the same time.

For a band that has historically stuck to five or six songs per album (or just three where 'Pawn Hearts' is concerned), a 13 track LP is something of a revolution. Yet any fears that such a commercial move may dilute VdGG's no-compromise intensity are totally unfounded here. This is classic Van der Graaf from first note to last, with a rare sense that all three members are enjoying themselves to the full. And so are we.
More Brilliance from Peter Hammill & Co. The British Prog Rock pioneers break new ground and travel some strangely familiar stellar heights.
Seems to be an error with track 6. Will try again another day.. Looking forward to hearing this album :-)
