Since others have already gushed about 'Astral Weeks' and 'Moondance', I thought I'd give 'His Band and The Street Choir' some love. This album completes a trio of timeless classics from an underrated musical genius. Songs like Crazy Face, Gypsy Queen, If I Ever Needed Someone and Street Choir find Van @ his soulful best. This album also contains one of the most beautiful and romantic love songs ever written, I'll Be Your Lover Too. I am not a very romantic or sentimental person, but that song moves me every time I hear it. It reminds me of how I feel about my wife and still gives me goose bumps when I hear it. In my view this album doesn't get the respect it deserves. It may not be as ground breaking as the first 2 in the trilogy, but if you love those masterworks you will surely find much to love on this classic.
