The third volume of this series packs 32 tracks mastered from original vinyl onto one CD. The sound quality ranges from good to okay on these rockabilly obscurities, while a thick booklet provides details about each selection. A few names might be recognized by those who take their rockabilly seriously, perhaps Hank Swatley and Andy Starr particularly, but many of these recordings are the rarest of the rare and probably make their CD debut here. Gems abound, and rockabilly fanatics will certainly want to seek out this series, although to do so might require contacting this small South Carolina label directly. – Greg Adams
